INTRODUCTION:
 Here's our new JP1 USB EEPROM design with the latest FTDI technology and other updated changes that makes it compatible with the first generation of JP1 remote's using a standard USB computer port instead of a serial port as in the first generation.

We have added a Green LED on both of our new devices that will flash when data is being transmitted to and from the remote and will work reliably with remote's under any battery conditions, from 2-cell models with weak batteries to 4-cell models with brand new batteries.

Note:
When using it with the IR.exe software you must select interface type JP1.x, NOT JP1 EEPROM or JP1 USB.
